3. General Information on Data Processing

Scope of Personal Data Processing

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users is carried out regularly only with the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where obtaining prior consent is not possible for factual reasons and the processing of data is permitted by legal regulations.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing personal data, Art. 6 (1) lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis. When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Insofar as processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis. In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 (1) lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis. If processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the former interest, Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.

Data Deletion and Storage Duration

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Blocking or deletion of data is also carried out when a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

4. Data Collection on This Website

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website — for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

Contact Form

When you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to us regarding the personal data concerning you:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

6. Objection to Promotional Emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adjust this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g., when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
